LGBTQ+ Terms & Definitions

This resource can be used by students and Anti-Bullying Ambassadors as a matching activity for LGBTQ+ terms and definitions with their peers, parents or school staff. It can also be used by school staff with their students.

This resource is supported by the Department for Education.

Objectives

1. Empower students to understand the correct terminology for people who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community
2. Promote diversity and inclusion.
